Akira Uchibori was the owner of the GUHROOVY hardcore techno music label and shop of the same name (the shop closed on January 31st, 2018). In BEMANI, Akira serves as an executive producer for artists like M-Project, usually giving credit to the recording label. He's known to collaborate with L.E.D., DJ TECHNORCH, and NO+CHIN, though he has composed solo works by himself and has even provided vocals for some songs.
Trivia
- Many of the songs where GUHROOVY is credited in the artist info exclusively involve M-Project instead of Akira.
- According to the song comments of One More Reason, Akira's GUHROOVY alias is pronounced as "groovy", not "gah-roovy".
