Unlike most staff members at the company, Youhei seldom stuck to one BEMANI series as a staff member: he was a sound programmer for beatmania 3rdMIX and beatmania completeMIX, then he worked on beatmania IIDX, substream, and pop'n music 4 in the same position, before becoming co-sound director of beatmania III and finally the sound director of ParaParaParadise.
