** Yeah, chopping, pitching and pasting has been a sampling staple. It really, really depends what you mean by "Sampling". Does it include pitch changing, whether it's chopped? I'd say it does. (As an aside, are we also counting licences in here. Techno Trance Essentials

It's my time to shine.

I don't know how to sort these in the page, but they all have the same source, the Techno Trance Essentials CD. They can all be previewed for free here. It contains a set of 4 different named acapella vocalists and a "grab bag" reel of vocal sound effects called "Special Acapella" (including the long high-pitched yell in Programmed World, Flip Flap, etc., and the very popular "GO!!" sample)
These are my notes on the acapella tracks after llistening to them all. The whole sample will be written, but if it's cut up, only the used part will be in bold.

Amy Acapella

  • "All systems go!" - Used in passionate fate.
  • "Element number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5" - Used in passionate fate.
  • "Fire in the sky" - Used in Ignited Night.
  • "Secret weapon" - Used in Ignited Night.
  • "Stand by for action" - Used in Ignited Night.

Bamdad Acapella

  • "Countdown: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10" - Used in Second Heaven.

Fab Acapella

This excludes the ones Brain Power uses exclusively because it's too long to list.

Franca Acapella

  • "Are you ready?" (1st of 2) - Used in FIRE FIRE.
  • "Are you ready?" (2nd of 2) - Used in waxing and wanding, pitched up.
  • "Bass from outer space" - Used in waxing and wanding, pitched up.
  • "Be quiet" - Used in Be quiet.
  • "Blockbuster" (3rd of 3) - Used in Aurora.
  • "Body rock" (1st of 2) - Used in Aurora.
  • "Countdown: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10" - Used in Ignited Night.
  • "Ready for takeoff" - Used in SOUND OF GIALLARHORN, pitched up.
  • "We can fly" - Used in So Fabulous !!, and pitched up and used in EXUSIA.

Aurora uses another sample that may also be from Franca and sounds like "Comma-stuh", but I couldn't ever specifically identify it.

Drum Breaks

Yes, I am aware that more drum breaks exist than the Amen Break. But Valkyrie Dimension/Unicorn Tail totally uses the Amen Break.

It sounds completely different.
