Profile
Toshio Sakurai is a former artist for the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series. From GUITARFREAKS to GUITARFREAKS 9thMIX & drummania 8thMIX, he provided a number of songs for the series, many of them involving Thomas Howard Lichtenstein. He was also the music director of drummania and drummania 2ndMIX.
Toshio left KONAMI in 2001, and started playing live in March 2002. In April 2002, he formed a new group called Toshio Sakurai with db Communication (桜井敏郎 with dB Communication), which was dissolved in June 2003. In July 2003 he formed the band SAFETY SHOES, and still continues to perform music with the band to this day.
