It's iO-LOWER! The pair on a mission to fight a war.
The yellow-haired one, iO, is the pair's physical power, and the one with sunglasses, LOWER, is the intelligence.
It was my first time in a while being in charge of character animation, and I had a hard time designing humanoid characters; so mayo created the original design drafts.
I thought the fact that they weren't quite human was really cool. Since iO is a little more muscular than usual, I had fun drawing his arms and legs ^^
LOWER, being the intelligent type, has a much thinner and less muscular body; so instead of directly fighting people, he was given the ability to create a shield-like barrier instead.
Please notice the differences between the two~!
Under normal circumstances, such different people would never spend time around each other; but since they're the angels of the galaxy, they need to work together, right?
When they're on a mission together, they can cover for each other's weaknesses. If iO was alone, he'd just keep on attacking everything impulsively and never resolve the battle. If LOWER was alone, he wouldn't have the power to fight at all.
The two create the perfect balance between calm and energy.
With one wing each, they're two halves of a pair; maybe they're not complete unless they're with each other?
Speaking of which, wouldn't it be funny if they did a manzai routine together? The laughter they'd inspire together would create a war-ending peace! ...But a peaceful solution is probably too high a hurdle to clear, and the stars will continue to collapse as usual...
