BEMANI EXPO was a collaborative event between beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY, GuitarFreaks V2 & DrumMania V2, and pop'n music 13 カーニバル.
The BEMANI EXPO event started on August 31st, 2005 and ended on February 6th, 2006.
There were three phases to this event:
- Phase 1: beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY (August 31st, 2005 to September 30th, 2005)
- Phase 2: pop'n music 13 カーニバル (October 19th, 2005 to November 11th, 2005)
- Phase 3: GuitarFreaks V2 & DrumMania V2 (January 18, 2006 to February 6th, 2006)
Musicians Involved
On the BEMANI EXPO website, a list of 18 musicians (technically 19, due to Handsome JET Project being a duo) was given, each with their own profile page that includes a brief biography along with a visual graph (similar to the 6-stat chart introduced in GuitarFreaks V3 & DrumMania V3) of random stats.

There were in total 9 new songs in the event (3 songs each in beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY, GuitarFreaks V2 & DrumMania V2, and pop'n music 13 カーニバル), with each song made by a collaboration of 2 BEMANI artists (out of 18).
Every song in the event had unique aliases that were not previously used before, as the main part of the event was having fans correctly guess on the BEMANI EXPO website, with given hints, which 2 musicians were involved in each song.

Trivia
- BEMANI EXPO has the distinction of being the first cross-BEMANI event, and the only one until 2010's jubeat×beatmania IIDX APPEND STYLE.
