Kennosuke Ono, also known as onoken, is a commisioned artist with works on the doujin scene dating as far as 2001, with works on Diverse System and Sound Online, as well as arranging for Japanese vocalist Meg together with TaQ. Later, he would contribute to anime adapatations such as Higurashi no naku koro ni (ひぐらしのなく頃に), Accel World (アクセル・ワールド), and CHAOS;CHILD, as well as for several doujin games.
Kennosuke's style varies from time to time. While versed on artcore and drum'n'bass, he often steps out for trance and techno, and lately a lot into dubstep.
Trivia
- Kennosuke's Ax and felys aliases are the names of his earlier songs.
- Prior to Amnolys, every song composed by Kennosuke Ono was an unlockable song on its respective debut game.
- This is still the case in pop'n music.
- Kennosuke also contributed to Rayark's music game Cytus, under his ani alias.
- In Cytus II, he is credited as onoken instead. In addition, he also appears in lowiro's Arcaea, MARVELOUS!'s WACCA series under his main onoken alias.
- He also used two aliases for SEGA's music games, onoken and owl*tree.
- Neither of Kennosuke's beatmania IIDX songs appear on beatmania IIDX ULTIMATE MOBILE, and none of his BEMANI songs appear at all on ULTIMATE MOBILE's MUSIC PLAYER.
