  • According to dj TAKA, he was requested to write Quickening by NAOKI, who was the sound producer of Dance Maniax 2ndMIX.
    • And according to his comments on the official song page for Quickening on beatmania THE FINAL's website, TAKA was stubbornly against Quickening being transplanted into beatmania at first.
      • TAKA also got requests to put Quickening in IIDX as early as 6th style. VJ YUZ himself offered to make the video for Quickening when it finally appeared in 9th style, which made TAKA happy.
  • Quickening is the last Dance Maniax song to date to appear in IIDX.
