BlackY is a young artist who has won several SOUND VOLTEX contests; alongside red glasses, he also won the ボクもワタシも★ポップンアーティスト! (Boku mo Watashi mo pop'n Artist!) contest for pop'n music 20 fantasia.

Outside BEMANI, he has released albums under his label, BlackY's BEATFLOOR, and has appeared on several doujin circles, such as Diverse System and electro-planet. He produces songs under various genres, such as techno, trance, trancecore and also freeform hardcore.

He is very popular in the SOUND VOLTEX community, mostly due to almost all the songs he is involved in having hard EXHAUST charts.
