Akira Yokota is one of two members of Y&Co. (横田商会), along with Tetsuya Tamura. He is more commonly referred to as DJ BOSS. The two have collaborated together under the Y&Co. name since 1993, where they have done both a decent amount of work for BEMANI, as well as for avex trax artists like Ayumi Hamasaki. They also did the nonstop megamixes on the DanceDanceRevolution OSTs up to DanceDanceRevolution Solo 2000, Akira then did most of them up to DDR FESTIVAL -DanceDanceRevolution- and DanceDanceRevolution STR!KE. Despite this, though, very few of the actual Y&Co. songs in BEMANI are actually composed by him - most of them are done by his partner, Tetsuya Tamura. This page only lists the songs he personally was involved with.
