Well, my first long mix, born from such circumstances, was created for DJs to easily play and connect songs with, so HOUSE DJs, please excite the floor with this song!!

When I first heard this song, it was so grand and romantic that I felt that detailed, yet everyday lyrics wouldn't fit.
The starry sky is a blue and beautiful earth. It's the joy of living as a human, not as a man or woman.
What's important is not matter, but the flow of time. I wanted to depict such world.

beatmania IIDX
And when I sung this, these emotions weren't bound by anything, so I was surprisingly and naturally able to confront my soul.

pop'n music 6 song. Because it wasn't in 8, I resurrected it in IIDX.
I'm very grateful for being able to encounter such moments with this song.

Actually, this song is among my very favorites.

When this song was included in pop'n music6, TRAN was included as the character, and it was very memorable.
Listening back to this now, it functions in my brain like graduation ceremony choral music...

Though if you listen, you might catch a glimpse of some poor composition at times in the song (laughs), and what I consider mediocre melodies/phases at times to me.
... tera from the pop'n team created the animations, and shio also drew the illustrations, which gave TRAN a charm I couldn't produce, so I was very pleased that all the IIDX and pop'n players could experience TRAN's appearance in another world, and I was very, very happy~...

This is a Level 1 song on LIGHT7, so I recommend it to those starting off to be recommended to play this song by their friends.
The past dj TAKA produced a heartbreaking, beautiful, and inspiring song, while ASAKO's singing voice doubled its powerful and kind emotions.
Those who heard this after a long time... or those who heard this for the first time... what kinds of thoughts does this song bring to your mind?

Character Information
Character Information
Trance has already become very popular in beatmania IIDX, the home ground of dj TAKA. Two years ago, when trance first appeared in IIDX, it came together with a mysterious alien girl, TRAN.
Hearing that trance will now make its first appearance in pop'n with dj TAKA, she decided to go along with him. She may look a bit scary, but actually, she's a very friendly alien. You'll get along with her, right?
VJ GYO
Nice to meet you, poppers! My name is VJ GYO (aka, the long-winded guy).
Like dj TAKA, beatmaniaIIDX is my home ground... please get to know me!
Well, I was overjoyed when I received the offer for TRAN to appear, but for her to actually appear, tera, shio, and everyone on the pop'n team forced themselves to work very hard to make this happen.
Problem 1) TRAN is a 3DCG character.
Problem 2) She doesn't have a mouth and black eyes. Her nose only looks a bit sharp~, and she has no facial expressions.
Problem 3) She has a strange shape, with a odd large head, and strangely thin limbs.
(She's a brilliantly retro-futuristic and stereotypical alien...)
To summarize, this was a difficult problem to solve, where I asked "how can we include her as a resident of the pop'n world without feeling out of place?".
Solution 1) With the reasoning that it's TRAN from another world, I was fascinated by tera's friendly, cheerful, and cute way, like an anime character for children of these days!
Solution 2) Retaining her unnatural image, I was fascinated by shio's atmospheric and contemporary interpretation by reshaping her to be simple & modern, like an anime character from the '60s!
They're both wonderfully good!! And VJ GYO, who's just a carefree and useless human, was absolutely impressed...
After that, the entire team had a heated debate...
(Although it was just before the production was up... I'm very grateful, no, I'm sorry for this story)
Then, after the character was decided, shio did the image illustrations, and tera drew each of the animations based on the 3DCG animations that I created.
Even though we were on a very tight schedule, I admired their efforts!
This song is difficult that I can't clear it at all, but these days, I'm smiling while playing and watching at various arcades.
Although she caused a bit of an uproar, TRAN was treated as a super V.I.P "stranger".
However, her true intention is to be treated as a casual and normal friend, filled with feelings that she wants to enter the portal to the pop'n world.
...As drawn on the pop'n music6 poster...
(When I first saw this poster at a certain arcade, I was deeply moved.... I want it!).
To all poppers and the pop'n team, thank you very much.
tera
We thought it was natural that this character had to appear here. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank VJ GYO, as the creator, & all the 2DX team, who readily consented!
About the animation production, I tried a bit of an interesting process, where all the actions were created by GYO as a 3D movie, and I traced the flat drawings on a frame, which was naturally a first for pop'n. Contrary to my expectations that it would be easy, it was quite hard work, so I intended to create her by fixing her proportions and interruptions, while being directed to remove much of her unnaturalness, but..., I was showered with "boo-hoo" and ridiculed by the team saying "it looks a bit different" until the end, and as a casual animator, this was the best I could do....
shio
I heard that dj TAKA was going to provide us with a trance song this time, so I nervously approached the IIDX team and asked "if, if that's the case, can we have TRAN?" tera also requested this, so I'm really grateful for their consent! In particular, I'm repeatedly thankful to VJ GYO for his huge cooperation! I'm sorry for ending your valuable holiday after completing it. And thanks for your contribution!
Well, TRAN is already a popular character in IIDX, so I didn't want to ruin her image for IIDX fans, but it wouldn't make sense to not do a pop'n remix of her! So I thought with tera about various directions to take this. So from IIDX to pop'n, from 3D to 2D, how do you feel about TRAN crossing over to a different dimension? tera and I are happy that TRAN's charm remains while feeling that she's from another world. I retouched her illustration with a pop'n-styled touch, and I was surprised that TRAN's body proportions were taller than I thought. I thought she was much shorter.
And to those who knew about TRAN for the first time in pop'n, please check her out here too!

In pop'n 5, the challenge was the HYPER chart for PERCUSSIVE, and this time, it was the HYPER chart for this song until development finished. When I first played this, I had two left to clear, so I felt that I could do it, but for some reason, the more I played, the less gauge I had, so now I only have three gauges remaining. While I wondered why, wac calmly cleared it. I was frustrated.

Simonman
Actually, dj TAKA prepared another song before this, but we had to drop it this time due to the difference in direction. But it was a pretty hard and deep trance, so perhaps you can hear it in the next title of the series?

wac
IIDX5thstyle was finally completed, and a languid, exhausted, and completely Saipan-filled TAKA created this "calm", "quiet", "flattering", and "exciting" song. Eventually, if we combined the songs by him we didn't use in popn6, the total length would be over 12 minutes, which is awkward. Ehehe. Sorry. It's not good to say that it's cute. That's why this song was recorded last out of the original songs. The vocal recording was delayed and it was included in the cabinet really close to the deadline.
I felt paranoid and thought about getting revenge on another certain game series.

ShimaQ
There are a lot of strange characters this time, right (?)

tera
Kyukokyuko, pop'n is now 2DX.
What's with djTAKA.

Piu:KOHA
I really like the PARA PARA song (oh, was it from IIDX?), but this song here is also nice~! It's really beautiful.
I feel like I properly saw TRAN again this time. I also thought she was shorter.

shio
I'm even more impressed by dj TAKA's ability of creating cutting edge club music in a friendly pop'n music style, and making it fun too. The NORMAL chart changed into a difficult HYPER chart as expected.... But it's still exquisite and difficult to maintain the illusion that it can be cleared in a bit halfway through playing. I'm also a TRANCE H member.

Leaving the foundation of our love
So don't let troubles bring you down
Leaving the foundation of our dreams

I'm so in love with you
Whatever you wanna do it's alright with me
You make me feel so brand new

You're the one I need tonight
And I wish upon a star

Well, my first long mix, born from such circumstances, was created for DJs to easily play and connect songs with, so HOUSE DJs, please excite the floor with this song!!

ASAKO

When I first heard this song, it was so grand and romantic that I felt that detailed, yet everyday lyrics wouldn't fit.
The starry sky is a blue and beautiful earth. It's the joy of living as a human, not as a man or woman.
What's important is not matter, but the flow of time. I wanted to depict such world.

And when I sung this, these emotions weren't bound by anything, so I was surprisingly and naturally able to confront my soul.

I'm very grateful for being able to encounter such moments with this song.

VJ GYO

When this song was included in pop'n music6, TRAN was included as the character, and it was very memorable.
Listening back to this now, it functions in my brain like graduation ceremony choral music...

... tera from the pop'n team created the animations, and shio also drew the illustrations, which gave TRAN a charm I couldn't produce, so I was very pleased that all the IIDX and pop'n players could experience TRAN's appearance in another world, and I was very, very happy~...

Actually, dj TAKA prepared another song before this, but we had to drop it this time due to the difference in direction. But it was a pretty hard and deep trance, so perhaps you can hear it in the next title of the series?
