- January 18th: SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH is released to Japanese arcades.
- It marks the BEMANI game part of the new eAMUSEMENT Participation system, where the machine has to be connected to the eAMUSEMENT network for the game to start up. If not, the game will not run.
- All future BEMANI arcade releases from this point onward would follow this system.
February
- February 1st: BOOM BOOM DANCE / Rhythm Party is released for the Xbox Live Arcade.
- It marks the final BEMANI game on a home console to date.
- February 15th:
- wac's first album, 音楽, is released.
- Dormir's first album, Petit March, is released.
- February 23rd: GuitarFreaksXG3 & DrumManiaXG3 is released to Japanese arcades.
