Trivia

  • Cosmic Cat was added to beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL as part of the Qpronicle Chord unlock system, unlockable in Qpronicle Chord phase 1.
  • Cosmic Cat is the only new song from the Qpronicle Chord unlock system whose ANOTHER charts are not rated Level 12.
  • Cosmic Cat uses the OMEGA ATTACK generic boss song video, marking the first time a tricoro boss song's video is used outside of beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro.
  • The boss in Cosmic Cat's overlays is a corrupted version of Sumomo (the character from 8bit Princess) named Moonlit Sumomo.
    • Unlike the other partners of Qpronicle Chord, Sumomo has never been a boss (or an enemy).
    • When you miss a note, the boss will look at the screen, her eye color changing from red to green.
    • The regular Sumomo appears at the end when you clear the song.
  • Cosmic Cat marks Daisuke Akitsu's first beatmania IIDX song that is part of a game's unlock system.
    • It is also his first composition in BEMANI not credited to his Dirty Androids alias.
  • Future bass is a genre derivated from the post-dubstep producers from United Kingdom. It's characterized for using morphing stack bass (a bass sound made with 3 or more layers of wavetables) and shaping it with the ADSR envelopes, as well as utilizing many assets from dubstep and trap music.
  • Cosmic Cat received † charts in beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ. These charts can be unlocked from August 17th, 2017 by clearing the DA EXPERT course.
