Profile
With work dating as back as 1987, he's one of the big names in videogame music in Japan. His style is reminiscent of early techno as well as being one of the precursors of hardcore techno in IIDX, being one of the first composers to bring that style into the game. Outside of BEMANI, he has an extensive career on NAMCO, ARIKA, SEGA and SNK.

- He owns SuperSweep Records where he produces commisioned game music.
- He has several side projects with fellow composers Ayako Saso and Nobuyoshi Sano. One of them is Oriental Magnetic Yellow, a parody of Yellow Magic Orchestra, a well known Japanese electronic band formed by famous composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
- Incidentally, Ryuichi composed a song for his side project Manikyua-Dan.
