ULTIMATE MOBILE MUSIC PLAYER omissions
One of the most celebrated features of beatmania IIDX ULTIMATE MOBILE by KONAMI was the MUSIC PLAYER, which lets you play thousands of music tracks from various BEMANI titles from the series' history.
However, quite a few tracks are missing, possibly far more than you'd think at first glance.
For the sake of simplicity, this list will only cover the vanilla versions of BEMANI albums that are specifically on the ULTIMATE MOBILE releases, or were made for the releases. It will not cover V-RARE or special edition releases.
The BEMANI series with OST releases are not represented on the ULTIMATE MOBILE services at all:
- beatmania
- Dance Maniax
- KEYBOARDMANIA
- ParaParaParadise
MÚSECA and MÚSECA 1+1/2, are not covered on here, as their soundtracks are fully complete contest and original compositions.
Artists whose songs don't appear in MUSIC PLAYER
Due to copyright issues with JASRAC, certain BEMANI artists just don't appear at all on the MUSIC PLAYER, or have extremely limited songs on there. Here's a known list of known artists whose songs do not appear at all on the MUSIC PLAYER:
Artists with zero songs on the player
- Any full-on classical arrangements/remixes(a few songs that partially use classical music pieces, such as TIEFSEE or 一激必翔, remained). The one and only exception is Trill auf G.
- Keiichi Ueno
- Takayoshi Watanabe
- Yuko Asai
- Osamu Kubota
- onoken
- Takeshi Kuramochi
- Parquets
- Hiroaki Sano
- Kazuya Takase
- Ryo Matsui
- Tetsuya Tamura (includes Y&Co., Remo-con, etc.)
- PRASTIK DANCEFLOOR
- Taku Takahashi
- Yamato
- MOSAIC.WAV
- sasakure.UK
- Kimitaka Matsumae
- Hiroshi Watanabe
- Kenichiro Nishi
- Any BEMANI songs written/sung by Maiko Horisawa
Artists with very limited appearances
This list is incomplete, and will be filled in as more omission pages are finished.
- All BEMANI appearances by Reo Nagumo after beatmania IIDX 4th style
- All BEMANI appearances by Shoichiro Hirata after beatmania IIDX 9th style
- All songs by Tsugumi Kataoka, with the two curious exceptions being Love me love me love me and 太陽がみつめてる.
- All songs sung by Manami Fujino, with the sole exception of 探検ノート.
- Akira Yokota, with the sole exception being Colors -Y&Co. Eurobeat Remix-.
- Anything with TaQ after beatmania IIDX 6th style, with the sole exception being Distress.
- Anything composed/arranged by good-cool after either 6th style or pop'n music 7 in those respective series, with the sole exception being 流星☆ハニー Perforation Mix.
