pop'n music ラピストリア

General Information

First pop'n music game with an anime opening.
- MZD, FUGA, HIUMI, RETSU, RINKA, and nia all appear in the opening.
- FUGA, HIUMI, RETSU, RINKA are also featured on the title screen. The pop'n music ラピストリア marquee also show them along with Mimi and Nyami.
The portrait designs of most of the new and returning characters for the new ラピストリア songs have changed to a more anime-esque style (the animation sprites retain the same design style as older games, though).
None of the banners for the new ラピストリア songs have genres on them.
HI-SPEED can now be increased/decreased by 0.1 amounts, instead of 0.5 amounts like previous releases.
- It also displays which will be the new BPM after applying the chosen HI-SPEED.
EASY and HARD gauges, much like the beatmania IIDX series, have been added.
Story Mode is introduced.
