beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY featured a lot of changes over the previous beatmania IIDX arcade releases, and one of the big ones being a difficulty scale change going from a maximum of 8+ to 12. As such, the grand majority of the difficulty level changes were to spread out more the spectrum of charts rated above level 7 and higher.
