Dan Courses (段位認定)
Much like in beatmania IIDX, or DanceDanceRevolution X's DANCE DRILL COURSES, Dan (段位認定, also known as Class) are ranked so that each course is harder than the last. Unlike the beatmania IIDX series, the starting level in DanceDanceRevolution is 1st Dan (初段).
Dan courses can only be accessed at the beginning of a round of Premium Play; courses are different between Single and Double. For more information on the songs in each course, please see this page.
