Dance Maniax 2nd Mix
Release Information
- Release date: December 5th, 2000
General Information
- First Dance Maniax game and first BEMANI game to show full screen video behind transparent note lanes.
- Dance Maniax 2nd Mix changes many things from the previous version:
- The options menu is now always shown to the player, just after mode selection.
- In music select mode there is a new difficulty popup. This removes the only use of the IR sensors in the menus.
- All perfect, great, and good judgements are displayed as "OK" and all misses are displayed as "BAD". This change is only visual and the scoring is unchanged.
- Two players in versus mode can no longer play on separate difficulty levels.
- In music select mode the player(s) will now first pick 3 songs, then play all 3 songs back to back. The extra stage still occurs after the results screen.
- First Dance Maniax game to have a chart rated 9 stars.
- New songs: 28
- Total songs: 53
