Typography was a recurring theme in her beatmania IIDX videos, though her older art style used in beatmania could occasionally be seen in songs such as SPACE FIGHT, POODLE, and especially SHIFT. Her first video made for the series was The Biggest Roaster.
After over seven years of work on BEMANI titles, Hotaru left KONAMI in 2006 (as stated in her blog on 7/31/06). Despite her departure, she continued to make videos in BEMANI as late as beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS.
