- This version of MAX 300 also appears on the PlayStation 3 release of DanceDanceRevolution.
- A remix of MAX 300 by 2MB, titled MAX.(period), appears in DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME CS (Japan).
- Another remix of MAX 300 by Jondi & Spesh, titled MAX 300 (Super-Max-Me Mix), appears in DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX2.
- Despite the title, this remix is more based on MAXX UNLIMITED than MAX 300.
- Another remix of MAX 300 by DM Ashura, titled ΔMAX, appears in DanceDanceRevolution UNIVERSE3.
- Another remix of MAX 300 by takamatt, titled MAX 300 takamatt MIN REMIX, appears in SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH.
- The Ω alias was later reprised by Naoki Maeda to write the song 2020, which appears in the CAPCOM music game crossbeats REV. SUNRISE.
- A remix of MAX 300 by [𝑥], titled MAX 360, appears in DanceDanceRevolution A.

Trivia
- This song has different backgrounds, banners, jackets, or other related images. For more information, please see this page.
- MAX 300 is the EXTRA STAGE song in both DDRMAX and beatmania IIDX 7th style.
- When accessed as EXTRA STAGE in beatmania IIDX 7th style, the music select BGM changes to a portion of MAX 300, and the background changes as well.
- In the arcade version of beatmania IIDX 7th style, MAX 300 had its own unique title card. This was not carried over to any CS beatmania IIDX game.
- Retroactively, MAX 300's DanceDanceRevolution SINGLE EXPERT chart is the first to have a difficulty rating of 10 on the classic difficulty scale.
- Its SINGLE and DOUBLE EXPERT charts are retroactively the first to be rated Level 15 on the current 1-20 scale.
- MAX 300 received a BEGINNER chart in Dancing Stage EuroMIX2.
- Despite the BPM being displayed in DanceDanceRevolution as simply 300, MAX 300 actually slows down to 64 in the middle.
- On DanceDanceRevolution games where jumps are counted as 2 combos, MAX 300's Single Expert chart has a max combo of 573, the KONAMI number.
- MAX 300's original beatmania IIDX charts begin at 50 BPM, then speed up to 300 BPM when the song itself actually starts. The 50 BPM part was removed upon the song's revival in beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT.
- MAX 300 is nicknamed among Japanese players as "ヨロロ" (yororo).
- MAX 300(X-Special) is one of the X-Special EXTRA STAGEs in DanceDanceRevolution X, which can be played from July 9th, 2009 by obtaining a AA or better on songs from the DDRMAX folder before the FINAL STAGE, and then obtaining a AA rank or better on On The Break with the x1.5 and REVERSE modifiers as the FINAL STAGE.
- As of October 1st, 2009, MAX 300(X-Special) has been unlocked for normal play.
- From DanceDanceRevolution X2 onwards, MAX 300(X-Special) appears in the DanceDanceRevolution X folder instead of the DDRMAX folder.
- MAX 300's overlays were removed from the beatmania IIDX arcade games as of beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro due to technical issues.
- MAX 300 was one of the qualifying round songs in the KONAMI Arcade Championship 2013 for DanceDanceRevolution (2013).
- A video based on MAX 300's background animations from DDRMAX is hidden in the DanceDanceRevolution (2013) data.
- This video can be shown on any DanceDanceRevolution (2013) cabinet via hacking. It is displayed in the background of the MOVIE background dance stage's black variant and is not full-screen. Unlike the original DDRMAX video, the start of the background video transitions with clusters of pixels coming together to form the background, and then exploding into the main video. At the end, the video ends by exploding into pixels again to reform the background, ending the movie.
- This video was removed from DanceDanceRevolution (2014). However, it was officially added in DanceDanceRevolution A.
- MAX 300(X-Special) also received the same video in DanceDanceRevolution A. However, it plays in the background of the purple REPLICANT background dance stage, and like the original MAX 300, is not full-screen prior to DanceDanceRevolution WORLD.
- Its original DDRMAX video is shown when MAX 300 is played from the DDR SELECTION folder. It is displayed in full-screen, eliminating all on-screen dancers.
- MAX 300 is unlockable in beatmania IIDX INFINITAS from May 2nd, 2017, after purchasing its charts with BITs.
- According to Naoki Maeda, "MAX 300 was a pretty crazy song in several meanings. I personally meant it to be a challenge for the players, but as I learned more players were surpassing it by the day, I thought I had to stop making high-BPM songs since I was "defeated," but I didn't learn my lesson and kept making more of them around 300 BPM, heh." [1]
- MAX 300 was in consideration by Ryu☆ to be added to REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! Upper's BEMANI MUSIC FOCUS event as part of his set [2].
- From June 1st, 2017 in DanceDanceRevolution A to DanceDanceRevolution A3, MAX 300(X-Special) does not appear in the song selection screen if the player does not use an e-amusement pass.
- From DanceDanceRevolution WORLD onwards, it is available by default for all players.
- In DanceDanceRevolution DANCE WARS, MAX 300's BPM was incorrectly displayed as 300-306. This was later corrected by an update.
- MAX 300 is an unlockable revival song in beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT's ARENA MODE. It could be unlocked from July 6th, 2023 to July 19th, 2023 by collecting 60 ARENA CUBES.
- From February 8th, 2024, it can be purchased in beatmania IIDX 31 EPOLIS with Hizou no record (秘蔵のレコード).
- As of beatmania IIDX 32 Pinky Crush, it is available by default.
- MAX 300 received brand-new Single NORMAL and Single/Double ANOTHER charts upon its revival in beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT. Its Single HYPER and Double NORMAL/HYPER were not changed, besides the removal of the initial 50 BPM part.

NAOKI
This is an upper hard techno song unique to music simulation games, with an astounding 300 BPM.
I never imagined creating a unique style of digital music like this......... MAX 300 was completed through trial and error.
"Players who can clear this provocative high speed song in this game are like a superman to me..." I still feel the same way.
DanceDanceRevolution
Untranslated.
CS Information Data
DDRMAX -DanceDanceRevolution-
You have overcome many obstacles to unlock the song "MAX 300" by Ω. Clocking in at a blazing 300BPM, this is one of the hardest and fastest songs you will ever encounter.
Video Production Information
GOLI
THE MAXIMUM.
No, NAOKI. It's too fast. I can't do it.
And there are DDR users who emailed NAOKI and said, "Please create a song with BPM400!". Do you want to surpass humans? Do you want to become a superman? How can you all do this? It's a mystery. Oh dear, you're all aviators. (They're from a different generation....)
This song is groovy. It's a full-throttled NAOKI tune! So play and clear it. It's hot!
Let's draw something powerful like a raging festival for this song. So the dance is a bit conscious of a rock style. I recreated the part with the tricky stop for a moment. This animation's material took the most time. Since the original screen size is small, there's a place to always cheat, but this time, I reduced the image one-by-one to a poster-like resolution...... However, after resizing and dropping it to 15-color, it's completely nonsense. It's not effective. What a surprise. At least it must be wide....
But, I quite like these subtle animations.
