Release Information
- Release Date: November 30th, 2000.
- Slogan: ミッキーたちのDJで踊ろう! (MICKEY-tachi no DJ de odorou!)
General Information / Changes
- Most of the song list is comprised of eurobeat covers of Disney songs and licensed covers.
- The only three songs that are not covers/remixes are D.D.D ! 〜Happy 65th Anniversary for Donald Duck〜, Let's Twist Again, and Night of Fire.
- Only BASIC and TRICK charts for both Single and Double modes are available by default. Single MANIAC charts can be unlocked with a code.
- Banners are not used for songs; instead, the name of the song is displayed below the MUSIC SELECT title.
- Pre-song backgrounds are also removed.
- Introduces Dance Magic, which would later be included in the main DanceDanceRevolution series in DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA as BATTLE mode.
- Only arcade DanceDanceRevolution game to track calories burned in-game without the use of online accessories.
- It's also the only game to have individual music comments in-game, much like the pop'n music series.
- Instead of selecting your dancer, a preset Disney character will appear in certain stages as you play. Here is each song that each character appears in:
- Mickey Mouse: Mickey Mouse March (Eurobeat Version), Let's Groove, Surfin' U.S.A., Mickey Mouse March (SUMMERTIME EXTENDED Version)
- Donald Duck: Superstition, Mr.Bassman, IT'S A SMALL WORLD (Ducking Hardcore MIX), D.D.D ! 〜Happy 65th Anniversary for Donald Duck〜, Macho Duck
- Goofy: The Bump, Let's Twist Again, Twilight Zone, (Are You Ready) Do The Bus Stop, ELECTRICAL PARADE (Retro Future MIX)
- Pluto: I Want You Back, Vacation, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah
- Chip 'n' Dale: Macarena, Johnny B. Goode, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, IT'S A SMALL WORLD
- Huey, Dewey, and Louie: Fire, Night of Fire, Disco inferno, Chim Chim Cher-ee
- Failing out of a song informs you of how many steps you had left in that song.
