BEMANI SUMMER DIARY 2015

The BEMANI SUMMER DIARY 2015 event involves beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL, DanceDanceRevolution (2014), GITADORA Tri-Boost, jubeat prop, pop'n music ラピストリア, REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! Upper, SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS, and BeatStream.

The BEMANI SUMMER DIARY 2015 event started on July 23rd, 2015. A prologue song, In The Breeze, was made available for all participant games on July 16th, 2015, by playing any game once.

Overview

The event focuses on filling a diary with images of different BEMANI characters. Every image shows two characters, one of them (i.e. RASIS for SOUND VOLTEX) indicates the game where the song will be unlocked, while the other (i.e. Tran for beatmania IIDX) represents the "partner" game which can also be played to unlock the song faster. The representative characters are:

• beatmania IIDX: Tran
• BeatStream: BisCo
• DanceDanceRevolution: BABY-LON
• GITADORA: OTOBEAR
• jubeat: Smith
• pop'n music: Mimi and Nyami
• REFLEC BEAT: Pastel-kun
• SOUND VOLTEX: RASIS

You can play any participant BEMANI title to unlock a song. Coin play gives you about 4.9% per session, while using PASELI gives you about 7.4% (if playing on jubeat using PASELI, the percentage will be split to about 2.46% per song). Paying extra for certain game modes (e.g. GENERATOR START in SOUND VOLTEX) will give extra base progress.

Playing any of the two BEMANI titles represented by the characters on each image gives you a 3x multiplier on that session. Playing on the corresponding day gives you another 3x multiplier, or a 1.5x multiplier if you played within 7 days after that day. All the multipliers stack per game session. In other words:

Progress gained = Base session progress x representative game bonus (if any) x day bonus (if any).

In addition, playing non-BEMANI games such as QUIZ MAGIC ACADEMY Akatsuki no kane (クイズマジックアカデミー 暁の鐘) and Steel Chronicle VICTROOPERS give permanent boosts to unlock songs faster, while Mahjong Fight Club Irodori no hana (麻雀格闘倶楽部 彩の華) lets you obtain orbs to unlock a song instantly.

Note that the songs must be unlocked in order, even if you use the Mahjong Fight Club orbs.

Unlockable Songs

The ✓ symbol denotes that the song can be unlocked on a certain game, while the ◎ symbol denotes that this game can also be played in order to unlock the song faster, though the latter game does not receive the song.

Trivia

• On August 8th, 2015, due to a bug on the beatmania IIDX eAMUSEMENT website, 少年は空を辿る was accidentally revealed as an unlock for beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL before it could be unlocked.
