Release Information

  • Release date: November 15th, 2005.

General Information / Changes

  • Interface is based on ULTRAMIX2, though with a bubble motif.
  • First ULTRAMIX title with CHALLENGE charts, named ONI. Note that ONI charts can only be found by pressing down on charts that have them - they're not listed with the other difficulty levels.
  • First ULTRAMIX title with an unlock system.
  • First ULTRAMIX title with DLC packs that include licenses on them.
  • Any songs with stops have their minimum BPM listed as 0.
  • Giudecca's vocal samples have been changed, due to possibly sounding too similar to swearing.
  • Features dance footage and performances by the dancer group The Groovaloos as background animations.
  • Only DanceDanceRevolution title where the announcer makes comments on specific songs.
  • Banners for DLC songs have been updated and no longer have their corresponding Song Pack number in them.
  • Total songs: 70 (not including DLC)

Unlock Information

  • Brilliant R•E•D - pass a song rated 9 or higher with a score of at least 95,000,000 points.
  • Colors Midihead's Sapphire Mix - get AAs on all difficulties for Jelly Kiss Midihead's SMAK mix and Raise Your Hands.
  • Dança de Yuka - clear Rock-a-billy Willy on all difficulties.
  • ever snow - clear BRE∀K DOWN! and Firefly with at least an A.
  • Frozen Ray DIRTYHERTZ Mix - get 40 O.K.s on Freeze Arrows on any song.
  • Giudecca - clear bag, SAKURA and The legend of MAX on HEAVY with at least an AA.
  • Himawari - get As on all difficulties for CARNIVAL DAY and Sunflower Girl.
  • Insaner - play the CREDITS mini-game and score at least 400,000 points.
  • Jelly Kiss Midihead's SMAK mix - clear 10 songs.
  • Love This Feelin' ZONK Remix - obtain an AA on any difficulty on any song.
  • Music To Your Head - clear e-motion, Miracle Moon ~L.E.D.LIGHT STYLE MIX~ and KISS ME ALL NIGHT LONG on any difficulty with at least an A.
  • Parade of the Wooden Soldiers - Play the game on Free Play or Quest Mode on December 25th, Christmas Day. (Note that you can alter the system time and date to unlock the song; it will still be unlocked after changing the time back.)
  • Rainbow Flyer - obtain an AAA on any difficulty on any song.
  • Right On Time - clear Destiny lovers and Daikenkai on any difficulty with at least an A.
  • The legend of MAX - play all default songs on any difficulty.
  • B' and HONEY - buy every puzzle piece of each character in QUEST mode.

To unlock everything at once, insert a controller in the 4th port and select OPTIONS and CREDITS. Then, hit the arrows opposite of what's shown on-screen. Audience applause will be heard if done correctly.
