General Information

  • Fifth DanceDanceRevolution game for the Nintendo Wii.
  • Known as DanceDanceRevolution hottest party4 in the European regions.
  • Also released in PlayStation 3 on the same date on North America. Both games share most of the new KONAMI original songs and some licenses, however, the interfaces are very different, and both versions have some different gameplay modes.
  • Gimmicks have been removed, in favor for Choreograph Mode's mechanics.

Song List (Classic Mode)

Upon selecting Dance Mode from the main menu, Lesson 4 Choreograph Style is played to explain the game mechanics for Choreograph Mode. Pass it to gain access to the songlist in either Choreograph Mode or Classic Mode.

Choreograph Mode

To play in Choreograph Mode, the Wii Remote and DDR controller or Wii Remote with the Nunchuk and DDR controller are used. Beginner difficulty uses only the Wii Remote and Nunchuk while Difficulties Basic, Difficult, and Expert uses the DDR controller in addition. (If the Nunchuk isn't equipped, the left hand notes are auto-played.)

Challenge Task

Challenge Task is DanceDanceRevolution (2010)'s unlocking method by collecting DDR Points. DDR Points are recieved by completing the four missions given for the current task. Playing on each difficulty will hand out a different amount of points for clearing songs: on Beginner: 3500 points; on Basic: 6000 points; on Difficult: 7000 points; and on Expert: 10000 points. On top of these points, bonus DDR Points are given out if you manage to complete any of the four missions for the current task.
