- Release date: February 24th, 2000

General Information / Changes
- Second and final GUITARFREAKS game on PlayStation.
- APPEND game: requires GUITARFREAKS CS to play.
- Every song from the previous game has returned except J-STAFF.
- The game is based on GUITARFREAKS 2ndMIX, but it uses the ratings from GUITARFREAKS 3rdMIX, which was released two months later on April 21st, 2000.
- HIGHSPEED EDITIONs (double speed) of GO GO AGAIN, HOLIDAY, JUST JOEY, WANNA BE YOUR BOY, CUTIE PIE, and FIRE can be played by entering a code.
- Toshiyuki Kakuta, Akira Uchibori, Hiroyuki Togo and Sanae Shintani all make their GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series debuts in this game.
- Total songs: 45

- By meeting certain requirements, an additional stage (EXTRA STAGE) can be accessed. Depending on the selected play mode, an EXTRA STAGE-specific song can be played:
- MAGIC MUSIC MAGIC: NORMAL mode.
- KING G: EXPERT mode.
- Member Introduction: Unlocked after clearing KING G as EXTRA STAGE. Once unlocked, Member Introduction can be played in FREE MODE and TRAINING MODE (records for this song are not saved) but cannot be edited in EDIT mode.
