Hiroshi Takeyasu (born July 9th, 1966) is one of the earliest BEMANI artists, working in the original beatmania along with Reo Nagumo and Tomomi Ohta. He was a big contributor to pop'n music, and was the sound director of the first four arcade games. In 2001 he left the pop'n music team to go work as the music producer for DDRMAX2 and DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME. He returned to the pop'n music team again in 2003, where he stayed until his eventual departure from the series altogether.
