General Information
- DanceMasters / DanceEvolution is the first game in the DanceEvolution series. It requires Kinect, Xbox's motion sensing hardware, to detect the player's movements.
- It is the first BEMANI series to debut as a CS title.
- Songs are categorized by genres, being the only game in the series to do so.
- Almost every song in this game would later appear in the arcade version, with the only exception being YESTERDAY.
- First BEMANI game to ever be rated CERO B (12+) in Japan instead of the usual CERO A (All ages).
