General Information / Changes
- A direct port of beatmania 2ndMIX.
- This game was the only KEY DISC for all the other beatmania PlayStation releases until beatmania BEST HITS. After that, other titles were also released as KEY DISC.
- The game was issued on two discs: the first one being labeled as ARCADE 2ndMIX and the other as APPEND YebisuMIX.
- The name Yebisu is a reference to the Yebisu Garden Place (恵比寿ガーデンプレイス), a centre where the KCEJ WEST office was located at that time.
- Only CS BEMANI release to feature the original 1986-1998 italicized KONAMI logo in-game and on the packaging (the BEST edition shows the newer 1998-2003 logo).

Unlock Information
Alternate EXPERT Mode Songs
- Hold the SELECT button while choosing EXPERT mode. Alternate songs will appear on a particular stage, depending on which EXPERT course was chosen.
- CLASSIC EXPERT course: e-motion (2nd MIX) will be played on the fifth stage, instead of e-motion.
- TECHNO EXPERT course: Acid Bomb will be played on the third stage, instead of Salamander Beat Crush mix.
