Release Information

  • Location test dates:
    • JAEPO: February 15th-16th, 2013
    • Reitaisai: May 26th, 2013
  • Release date: June 5th, 2013
  • Slogan: キミの世界がひろがる

General Information

  • The game has been released as an online update.
  • Data carrying over from SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH consists of: player name (changeable), scores, clear marks, unlocked songs and play count of songs.
  • There are now hold notes on short buttons and non-hold notes on long buttons.
  • The song select screen was redesigned to go from a song wheel to a grid of album art.
  • The INFINITE difficulty is introduced, similar to DanceDanceRevolution's CHALLENGE difficulty in nature.
  • There is now a wider variety of effector types.
  • SOUND VOLTEX II features a class ranking mode named SKILL ANALYZER, which became available on July 3rd, 2013.
    • SKILL ANALYZER consists of ten courses with 3 songs each.
  • RANK system has been removed.
  • ADVANCED and EXHAUST charts are bought at once in the SDVX Station.
  • Original BEMANI songs are now crossovered in the game, without being remixed.
  • Features two new events: FLOOR INFECTION and POLICY BREAK.
    • In the FLOOR INFECTION event, FLOOR contest songs from SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH are crossovered to other BEMANI games. Currently, all the crossovered songs are original ones that do not contain VOCALOID. The FLOOR INFECTION event requires the player to play several rounds of SOUND VOLTEX (usually up to eight) until all crossovers are unlocked in the specified BEMANI game. Each event contains three songs and lasts generally two weeks; after the determined time period, crossovers cannot be unlocked anymore.
    • In the POLICY BREAK event, a song representative of each BEMANI game is crossovered to SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-. The POLICY BREAK event requires the player to play eight rounds of the specified BEMANI game in order to unlock the BEMANI crossover in SOUND VOLTEX. Each event contains one song and lasts generally two weeks; after the determined time period, the crossover cannot be unlocked anymore.
