The FLOOR INFECTION event is a collaboration that started in SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection- and the following other BEMANI titles: DanceDanceRevolution (2014), GITADORA, jubeat saucer, pop'n music Sunny Park and REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring-. As new versions of these series were released, the event was carried over to the newest titles:

• In SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection- from June 7th, 2013 until November 20th, 2014, as SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS was released.
• GITADORA to OverDrive
• jubeat saucer to jubeat saucer fulfill on April 25th, 2014.
• pop'n music Sunny Park, then pop'n music ラピストリア
• REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring- to colette -Summer- to groovin'!! to groovin'!! Upper

The event allows players to unlock original songs from SOUND VOLTEX FLOOR contests on other BEMANI games during limited time periods of two weeks each. Before November 20th, 2014, the event songs could be unlocked by playing SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-. After that, SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS have to be used to unlock the songs. By playing games of SOUND VOLTEX, the player will raise the infection level and unlock the songs below.

• beatmania IIDX is the only core BEMANI series to not yet participate in FLOOR INFECTION.
