Tatsuya Shimizu made his BEMANI debut in beatmania IIDX 10th style. He became one of the sound directors of the beatmania IIDX series one title later, and he remained as one until beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD. Tatsuya left KONAMI in 2007 due to health problems, but returned in late 2010 as a commission artist.
