General Information / Changes
- The SPEED modifier has been reworked into the HI-SPEED (ハイスピード) modifier, allowing players to adjust the scroll speed in increments of 0.05x. It also shows the approximate maximum, minimum, and main scroll speeds when applying this modifier.
- A new option for the APPEARANCE modifier, CONSTANT, has been added, where the arrows fade in as they reach the Step Zone. This is exclusive to Premium Play and Galaxy Play.
- This was previously used when playing 鳳 as the ENCORE EXTRA STAGE song for the BABY-LON'S GALAXY event.
- Options that could only be changed by visiting the official site can now be changed in-game.
- Icons that show if a selected chart has freeze arrows, shock arrows, stops, and/or speed changes have been added to the song selection screen.
- Music folders have been reduced to two main folders (WORLD and A), with sub-folders for each:
- WORLD contains three sub-folders: WORLD, A3, and A20→A20 PLUS.
- A has six sub-folders: A, 2013→2014, X→X3 VS 2ndMIX, SuperNOVA→SuperNOVA2, DDRMAX→EXTREME, and DanceDanceRevolution→5thMIX.
- In early gameplay screenshots, all dance backgrounds were removed and replaced with a generic green background video, with any original videos showed in little boxes in the bottom center of the screen. It's currently unknown if this will change in the final release.
- STEP ZONE backgrounds feature EMI (1P) and RAGE (2P) in them. It's currently unknown if this will be toggable on/off in the final release.
