FLOOR INFECTION

The FLOOR INFECTION event is a collaboration that started in SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection- and the following other BEMANI titles: DanceDanceRevolution (2014), GITADORA, jubeat saucer, pop'n music Sunny Park and REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring-. As new versions of these series were released, the event was carried over to the newest titles. Parts 10 to 12 were added as part of GUMI 5th Anniversary party Presented by BEMANI event.

The event allows players to unlock FLOOR contest songs from the SOUND VOLTEX series on other BEMANI games during limited time periods of two weeks each. The FLOOR INFECTION event requires the player to play several rounds of SOUND VOLTEX (usually up to eight) until all crossovers are unlocked in the specified BEMANI game. Each event contains three songs and lasts generally two weeks; after the determined time period, crossovers cannot be unlocked anymore. Past FLOOR INFECTION events may be temporarily revived.

Before November 20th, 2014, the event songs could be unlocked by playing SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-. After that, SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS has to be used to unlock the songs.

• beatmania IIDX is the only core BEMANI series to not yet participate in FLOOR INFECTION.
• Much like licenses, FLOOR INFECTION songs in the pop'n music series are not keysounded, nor given a genre.
