First appearance of MZD as a remixer of songs, though he appeared in the series as early as Pop'n Music 2.

Sugimoto Kiyotaka starts writing his own music for the series. He would write multiple songs a game until Pop'n Music 8.

On the official Pop'n Music 5 site, if you look up a character's profile, eventually he/she will switch to their 2P color and back again. This is the only Pop'n website that does this.
