General Information

jubeat ripples APPEND is an expanded release of jubeat ripples, developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, and is a part of Konami's Bemani line of music video games. The game features all songs from jubeat ripples and over 20 new songs, including licensed songs from J-pop group mihimaru GT. The game is also connected with beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS in that playing the two games will unlock songs for each game. The game was released on March 18th, 2010, and the original soundtrack April 21st.

Event Explanation

jubeat ripples is linked with the release of beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS. By playing both jubeat ripples and beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS, players have the opportunity to unlock new songs on both games. The process for doing so is as follows:

1. Starting March 8, 2010, players with an e-AMUSEMENT PASS may use a saved account from jubeat ripples to unlock the following jubeat songs in beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS:

• bass 2 bass / Ryu☆
• IN THE NAME OF LOVE / Y&Co. feat. Erica
• Special One / kors k feat. Suzuyo Miyamoto

2. Starting on March 18, 2010, players who have played each of these unlocks in beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS may use their SIRIUS data to unlock a new song in the newly-released jubeat ripples APPEND:

• AIR RAID FROM THA UNDAGROUND / GUHROOVY

3. After playing AIR RAID FROM THA UNDAGROUND in jubeat ripples APPEND, the player can now access the song in IIDX SIRIUS.

4. Finally, after having played bass 2 bass, IN THE NAME OF LOVE, Special One, and AIR RAID FROM THA UNDAGROUND in IIDX SIRIUS, the player unlocks the following jubeat song for play in IIDX SIRIUS:

• Evans / DJ YOSHITAKA

On the NORMAL and HYPER difficulties of Evans, a new version of the song is featured, Evans -prototype-.

The jubeat ripples x beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS APPEND STYLE event ended on July 29th, 2010.
