DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX PLUS
Release Information
- Release Date: December 28th, 2000
General Information / Changes
- Second and final PLUS version.
- Also, DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX PLUS Solo is the final Solo cabinet release.
- The "All Music" folder has been added, allowing players to choose any song without restrictions, unlike in the original DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX. However, character selection is randomized.
- At 150 songs, including nearly every song from past non-CLUB VERSiON arcade versions, DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX PLUS had the most songs of any DanceDanceRevolution release until DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME.
- Several songs have received new MANIAC charts, but old charts are still kept on the fourth selection on difficulty menu as "MANIAC-S" for Single or "MANIAC-D" for Double.
- BOYS, MY FIRE (UKS Remix), DUB-I-DUB, BRILLIANT 2U, LOVE, OPERATOR received brand-new Single MANIAC charts
- FLASHDANCE (WHAT A FEELING) and DYNAMITE RAVE received brand-new Double MANIAC charts
- BUTTERFLY (UPSWING MIX), HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN MELLOW, LET'S GET DOWN, stomp to my beat, DO IT ALL NIGHT, FOLLOW THE SUN (90 IN THE SHADE MIX) and XANADU received brand new Single and Double MANIAC charts.
- NINZABURO was renamed FURUHATA'S THEME, marking the first time in the DanceDanceRevolution series that a song has been renamed.
- The songs in the NONSTOP course OFFICIAL 1 was changed in 4thMIX PLUS.
- Last DanceDanceRevolution game to have NONSTOP courses until DDRMAX2.
- All hidden songs from DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX have been unlocked for normal play.
- Only DanceDanceRevolution game wherein its language can be changed from Japanese to English and vice-versa.
- 14 songs were added to the game in 4thMIX PLUS.
