  • Broken is unlocked in REFLEC BEAT by reaching Level 100.
    • In REFLEC BEAT limelight, it is unlocked by reaching the third part of Glass Stage 1-3. It is the 24th old REFLEC BEAT song in limelight unlocked via Glass Stage.
  • Retroactively, Broken is the first REFLEC BEAT song to have a chart rated Level 10+, and subsequently Level 11.
  • Unlocking Broken in REFLEC BEAT or limelight also unlocks the song in beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem or beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle, as part of Lincle LINK 1.
    • As of June 27th, 2012, it can be unlocked in beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle or beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro by reaching Q-pro Level 45 (as part of Lincle LINK 5). It is the seventh and last Lincle LINK 1 song in beatmania IIDX to be unlocked this way.

It was decided early on that I would compose two songs for REFLEC BEAT.

"I would like a trance song with a sad melody and foreign vocals, similar to Colors" was the request I received from Yoshitaka.
As he is someone that has done so much for IIDX, I do not think I could bring myself to refuse his request, so I tried my best.

However, it caught me off guard when I heard that this was going to be used for the last song.
At the time, the growing quality expectations had left me anxious throughout the production, but listening to it now, I am rather pleased with how it turned out.
