Firstly.. I was able to sing CANDY with my best feelings (^^) It's a cute song, so I did my best to write the lyrics and sing them without losing♪

An instrumental version was included in DDR MAX, but due to many fan requests, a long-awaited vocal version is included here.

Riyu Kosaka performed the vocals and lyrics to CANDY♥, a version with a new, stronger rock arrangement, which has become one of my favorite numbers among my recent creations.

I really wanted Riyu Kosaka to provide a comment here, but she was super busy with a high school festival, so NAOKI wrote this on her behalf, although CANDY♥ doesn't seem to suit him.

CANDY♥ is my interpretation of a cute & pop, yet exciting song. Actually, it's of my favorite recent songs. When I completed this song, something in me changed.
And it feels like BRE∀K DOWN!.
I was unexpectedly free beyond my obsessions.
If you put too much effort into anything, it will eventually become unreasonable, so I want to live naturally. I wonder if CANDY♥ is a radical song which included such feelings. It'd be nice if many people as possible played this song with happy feelings~.

The original version of the song, "CANDY", debuted on DDRMAX DanceDanceRevolution and was entirely instrumental. The song's fun combination of pop, rock and a fast-paced tempo gets a new sugar coating with cute Japanese pop styled vocals. With its sweeter appeal, everyone will be jumping up and down for some candy.

I selected Kaera as number two from the many ZUKIN tribes. But, I couldn't forget the other tribe members, so I had them occasionally appear. It was very fun drawing the images of various characters with the treasured images I received as examples. A salute to the DDR team from the other side. Thank you very much!

Her appearance is very delicate, and it was very difficult to express her ugly cuteness (sorry if my statement is rude...).
She's a nice character.... (seriously)

When I first heard CANDY☆, I felt that it expressed a bright and driving sensation. I wanted to show a romantic atmosphere through the appearance of the characters, JOHNNY and his lover LORRAINE (who makes her first appearance), but I'm embarrassed that I created her (laughs).

The colors also seem pop and cute, so I'm satisfied with the thoughtful result in a good way.
