Profile
Hideyuki Ono is a former BEMANI artist, whom from 1999 until 2014 contributed to most every BEMANI franchise. But he was best known for his work in the Guitar Freaks & DrumMania series, where he performed a variety of songs, including ska, lounge, swing rock, and 1950s rock. In pop'n music he was best known for his series of kayo songs with vocalist MAKI. He was also known for his usage of the trumpet in most of his songs.
On September 30th, 2014, Hideyuki Ono left KONAMI. He currently works as a freelance composer.

- Hideyuki Ono was one of the few in-house BEMANI artists who didn't compose/contribute to a song for the 私立BEMANI学園 event, along with Tomoaki Hirono and Akihiro Honda.
- Of all the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania games since his debut in drummania up to GITADORA OverDrive, GuitarFreaks V4 / DrumMania V4 are the only installments in the series to not feature a new song composed by Hideyuki Ono.
- Hideyuki Ono has composed a song, 光年 (konen), for CAPCOM's music arcade game, crossbeats REV., as well as ヒカリノブレスレット (with Jimmy Weckl) for nanobeat.
