General Information / Changes
- Theme is related to idols. The main theme color is magenta.
- First SOUND VOLTEX game since SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH to not have a Roman numeral in the title.
- Internal hardware has been overhauled.
- The operating system has been upgraded from Windows XP Embedded to Windows Embedded Standard 7.
- The resolution has been increased from 720p to 1080p.
- A new overhead camera has been installed beneath the marquee, though it is currently unused.
- Game mode selection menu has been refreshed; after logging in, the screen will display the following modes:
- NORMAL - the standard game mode. Light and Standard Starts are available. LIGHT START now uses PASELI.
- FRIEND - local matching mode.
- PARADISE - continuous mix mode. See below for more details.
- BLASTER - allows unlocking of BLASTER GATE charts and Ω Dimension tracks without BLASTER ENERGY. Requires PASELI.
- SKILL ANALYZER - now made as a separate mode for the first time since GRAVITY WARS.
- A new selection menu has been added: MY ROOM. In this menu screen, players can change their CREW and Appeal Card avatars.
- Only on machines with a GENERATOR: players can use the GENERATOR for card prints.
- A new start mode has been added: PARADISE START.
- A new feature, AUTOMATION PARADISE, has been added. When playing PARADISE START, the final track is transformed into a medley of three or four songs picked by the player.
- In the location tests, this mode was called VIVID START, and AUTOMATION PARADISE was limited to only three songs picked at random.

- Speed and judgement offset can now be changed at the song selection menu.
- Sorting function has been slightly reworked.
- You can now change the colors of the key beams. Available colors are purple, pink, green, and yellow.
- The NEMSYS crew characters that appear in the results screen are now animated using Live2D (except for photographed characters).
- In the Asian or Korean versions of the game, some characters don't fully shown. Instead, it has cut into bust-up.
- RASIS now has voice lines on the in-game tutorial.
- First SOUND VOLTEX game whose system BGM is not composed by Sota Fujimori; PHQUASE composed it.
- The new fifth difficulty is called "VIVID", its color is pink.
- Data carrying over from SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN include ID, player name, song unlocks, scores, APPEAL/GENESIS CARDs, CREW members, achievements, and VOLFORCE.
- SKILL ANALYZER level, titles, scores, BLASTER GAUGE status, BLOCKS, and PACKETS do not carry over.
- First SOUND VOLTEX game since SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH with no contest songs at launch.
- It's also the first since SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH to have multiple KONAMI originals at launch.
