Maya Takamura joined the beatmania IIDX video designer staff during the production for [[AC IIDX RED|beatmania IIDX 11 IIDX RED]], when there was a big push to start bringing in new talent to the beatmania IIDX team. Another mostly 2D artist, her coloring style, vaguely reminiscent of watercolor, provides a contrast to [[Goli Matsumoto|GOLI]]'s (usually) cel-shaded works, although she did a few 3D movies. Maya was during her stay at KONAMI one of the very few women on the beatmania IIDX graphics design team, but was one of many staffers who played beatmania IIDX; her KONAMI ID was 6233-6531.

Another mostly 2D artist (her only 3D video is for [[Listen Up]]), her coloring style, vaguely reminiscent of watercolor, provides a contrast to GOLI's (usually) cel-shaded works. MAYA is currently the only woman on the graphics design team, but is one of many staffers who plays IIDX; her Konami ID is 6233-6531. She is best known for incorporating "Killer" (a character from GENOCIDE) animations/illustrations into Tatsh's songs.
Maya left KONAMI sometime in 2008 after the location test of [[AC EMPRESS|beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS]]. In November 2008, she opened up her own personal website as a freelance artist, though she continued to contribute to beatmania IIDX and pop'n music for a few years after her departure. She then appeared as a commissioned jacket artist for REFLEC BEAT, even being the main character designer of [[AC RB Reflesia|REFLEC BEAT 悠久のリフレシア]].
