Ichika no gochamaze Mix UP!

Ichika no gochamaze Mix UP! (いちかのごちゃまぜMix UP！) is a cross-BEMANI event that started on November 1st, 2022 and ended on January 11th, 2023 between the following active BEMANI games: beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT, DanceDanceRevolution A3, DANCERUSH STARDOM, GITADORA HIGH-VOLTAGE (GITADORA FUZZ-UP after December 14th, 2022), jubeat Ave., pop'n music UniLab, SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR, and ノスタルジア Op.3.
In addition to the above-mentioned BEMANI titles, beatmania IIDX INFINITAS (2020), DANCE aROUND, DanceDanceRevolution GRAND PRIX, pop'n music Lively, SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR コナステ, コナステ GITADORA, コナステ ノスタルジア, QuizKnock STADIUM, クイズマジックアカデミー 夢幻の鏡界, 武装神姫 アーマードプリンセス バトルコンダクター, BASEBALL COLLECTION SEASON 2022, ボンバーガール レインボー, and 麻雀格闘倶楽部 Extreme were also involved in the event, acting as "bonus titles".
Overview
The event has three Steps:
- Step 1 allows the players to cross over songs from one BEMANI game to another two by filling the Light blue mixmix gauge (水色まぜまぜゲージ). Once it's maxed out, crossovers for the two neighboring titles (see image) will be unlocked.
- Example: by maxing out the Light blue mixmix gauge in GITADORA, both SOUND VOLTEX and DanceDanceRevolution will obtain a song from the GITADORA series.
- Once the Light blue mixmix gauges of two neighboring BEMANI games are filled out, Step 2 starts with the Pink mixmix gauge (ピンク色まぜまぜゲージ), which allows the player to unlock mashups of the songs that were crossed over between those games.
- Example: by maxing out the Pink mixmix gauge in GITADORA and SOUND VOLTEX, both series will get a mashup of Four Leaves and Snowmelt.
- Once all Mixmix gauges are maxed out, a third set of Purple mixmix gauges (紫色まぜまぜゲージ) will appear, and the final song VOLAQUAS, will be unlocked once all of the Purple mixmix gauges are filled.
Gauges are filled by playing any BEMANI game. Playing a BEMANI game will also fill the neighboring titles' gauges, although slowly. Games that are closer to the one being played will be filled faster than the ones further away from it. For a 100 points increase, the neighboring titles will get 33, 15, 8, and 3 points respectively (from the ones closest to furthest) during the Light blue and Purple mixmix gague phases, or 25, 5, and 1 point during the Pink mixmix gauge phase.
As of December 22nd, 2022, the amount for filling the Purple mixmix gauge has been tripled [1].
Post-event end unlock conditions:
- jubeat:
- jubeat beyond the Ave.: all songs can be unlocked via the BONUS TUNE unlocking system since December 1st, 2023.
- GITADORA:
- GITADORA FUZZ-UP: all songs can be unlocked via the Daishuugou atsumare together! GITADORA All Star GIG! (大集合あつまれトゥギャザー！GITADORAオールスターGIG！) event since December 13th, 2023.
- DANCERUSH STARDOM:
- DANCERUSH STARDOM: from December 27th, 2023, all songs can be unlocked with ★s.
- SOUND VOLTEX:
- SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR: from January 30th, 2024, all songs can be unlocked with PCB.
- ノスタルジア:
- ノスタルジア Op.3: all songs can be unlocked through MISSION BINGO. REcorrection and ロミとロボの宇宙飛行 are available from February 1st, 2024; while Indigo Nocturne and Metamorphic from February 15th, 2024, and VOLAQUAS from March 7th, 2024.
- beatmania IIDX:
- beatmania IIDX 31 EPOLIS: all songs could be purchased with EPO through Hizou no record (秘蔵のレコード).
- DanceDanceRevolution:
- DanceDanceRevolution A3: all songs can be unlocked through EXTRA SAVIOR A3 from April 4th, 2024 for 20th anniversary model cabinets, and from April 8th, 2024 for regular cabinets.
- DanceDanceRevolution WORLD: all songs unlocked by default.
