Profile

Yuei Uematsu is a long-time contributor to the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series, an active part of the series since 2000. He is best known for his alias Handsome JET Project with the late Handsome JET, though he performed quite a few other songs as well. Yuei also served as a recording engineer in the earlier GuitarFreaks & DrumMania games as well. He sound directed GuitarFreaksXG & DrumManiaXG. Until 2020, Yuei also worked as one of the technical managers of the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series.

As of 2021, Yuei is currently general manager of KONAMI's esports Promotion Office [1]. As such, he no longer participates in BEMANI.

• Yuei hosted the ceased BEMANI Backstage radio show.
• Currently, Yuei is the only in-house BEMANI artist without the "BEMANI Sound Team" moniker on any of his songs in-game since the policy of said moniker took effect.
