Tatsuya Shimizu made his BEMANI debut in [[AC 10th style|beatmania IIDX 10th style]]. He became one of the sound directors of the beatmania IIDX series [[AC IIDX RED|one title later]], and he remained as one until [[AC DistorteD|beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD]]. Tatsuya left KONAMI in 2007 due to health problems, but returned in late 2010 as a commission artist.
