Profile
Yasuhiro Taguchi, best known as TAG, is the current head sound director of the DanceDanceRevolution arcade games. His BEMANI first appearance was writing stepcharts for the DanceDanceRevolution series of games, starting at DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA, while his first musical appearance was in GuitarFreaks V3 & DrumMania V3 with El Dorado. He has been a regular in GuitarFreaks & DrumMania since his debut, and was a sound designer for the series for a few years.
In terms of sound, Yasuhiro is an all around composer. Keen on the rave and trance sounds, he also composes progressive rock and fusion for GuitarFreaks & DrumMania and beatmania IIDX. He also composes eurobeat and techno under his SUPER STAR 満-MITSURU- alias. Lately he has been composing dubstep songs as well. From DanceDanceRevolution X2 to DanceDanceRevolution (2014), he was the sound director of DanceDanceRevolution. He was also the sound director of DanceEvolution ARCADE.
Yasuhiro is currently one of the sound directors of the SOUND VOLTEX series, as of SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN.
