General Information / Changes

  • GITADORA features new cabinets, of a similar size than the XG2 SD cabinets, and interface.
    • The GuitarFreaks cabinet now has just one guitar.
    • The DrumMania cabinet doesn't have the raised stage anymore.
  • Background Movies have returned; the background movie system of XG3 is gone.
    • XG3 and most of the GITADORA songs have generic BGAs.
    • Almost all the videos for pre-XG GuitarFreaks & DrumMania songs have been replaced by generic BGAs.
  • Performance scores appear immediately after the song is completed.
  • NOVICE, REGULAR and EXPERT difficulties were renamed BASIC, ADVANCED and EXTREME respectively.
  • The EXTRA RUSH system has been removed.
  • Player names can now be written in Japanese (Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana).
  • The game features a re-rating of almost every chart from past games.
  • First game in the GF/DM series since GuitarFreaks V2 & DrumMania V2 to not feature Thomas Howard Lichtenstein on the default songlist.

To unlock these songs, you must play the mini-games of the GITADORA app for iOS and Android phones.

Songs are listed in order of appearance.

Private BEMANI Academy (私立BEMANI学園)

The Private BEMANI Academy event consists on raising the Friendship between two artists to 100% in order to unlock a certain song. You need to check the Private BEMANI Academy eAMUSEMENT site after you've reached 100% to claim an unlock.

You can raise the Friendship degree by playing either beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro, DanceDanceRevolution, GITADORA, jubeat saucer, pop'n music Sunny Park or REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring-. Depending of the game that you're playing, certain songs will raise the Friendship degree of two artists faster than on the other BEMANI games.

You can also play DanceEvolution ARCADE, SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH or take the BEMANI Test in QUIZ MAGIC ACADEMY 賢者の扉 Season2 to receive bonus Friendship degrees.

Songs are ordered from the one that gives you more Friendship (and as such, you can unlock it faster in GITADORA), to the one that gives you the least.

To unlock Elemental Creation -GITADO ROCK ver.-, you must have unlocked all the previous 9 Private BEMANI Academy songs, then you need to raise the Friendship degree of dj TAKA and DJ YOSHITAKA to 100%.
