- KONAMI cracks down on Diverse System, a Japanese music doujin label, from releasing any further albums containing unauthorized remixes of BEMANI songs on them, most notably their Dear Mr. and D series. Two such albums originally planned for Comic Market 79 for December 2010, Dear, Mr. wac and D16, were immediately cancelled. The D series was retired completely, while the Dear, Mr. series would be revived a few more times, though without BEMANI songs.
- In its place, Diverse System rushed into production a new two-disc album full of original songs titled THE DIVERSE SYSTEM. A more completed version would be released the following year.
