General Information
- Only Disney related DanceDanceRevolution game on the Nintendo Wii.
- Also the only DanceDanceRevolution title developed by Barnhouse Effect.
- Game engine and interface are based on DanceDanceRevolution HOTTEST PARTY.
- Scores are graded in stars rather than letters:
- E → Single Bronze Star
- D → Double Bronze Star
- C → Single Silver Star
- B → Double Silver Star
- A → Single Gold Star
- AA → Double Gold Star
- AAA → Triple Gold Star
- As the gameplay is based on DanceDanceRevolution HOTTEST PARTY, it shares its same gimmicks, though some of them have different names:
- The Foot Missile and Hand Missile gimmicks are known as Foot Pong and Hand Pong, respectively.
- The Foot Destructor was also renamed to Slip Step, and is shaped like a poison apple.

Groove Mode
Groove Mode is DanceDanceRevolution Disney Grooves' unlocking mode.

- Venues "Magical Destiny", "Surfside Paradise", and "Enchanted Castle" are unlocked by completing four venues overall, while Venue "Ancient Wonders" is unlocked by completing all other venues.
- Upon completing Groove Mode, the credits will play. Following the credits, the game will ask to the player go through Groove Mode once more. All venues are reset and the Ancient Wonders Venue becomes hidden once again. However, all other venues will be open to complete again.
