Artist Information
General Information
- Name: Yoshitaka Nishimura (西村 宜隆)
- Owns a dark brown chihuahua named Daizu, who appears in the video for タシカナモノ.
- He was found by NAOKI. Incidentally, Yoshitaka was the one who scouted out Kanako Hoshino, who performed on may of his earlier vocal songs and premiered in the very same game he did.
Profile
Yoshitaka Nishimura (born February 9th, 1979) is a BEMANI artist who made his debut in 2004's beatmania IIDX 11 IIDX RED, appearing as one of the sound directors in his debut game alongside veteran dj TAKA and Tatsh. He is known for his trance/pop tunes, especially the CaptivAte series of songs. He's also been known to sneak in lots of scratching in his songs, including some for Des-ROW. Yoshitaka was the head IIDX sound director from beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD through SIRIUS, which met with mixed opinions among the non-Japanese BEMANI crowd. Since SIRIUS his IIDX appearances have been scarce, though.
Currently Yoshitaka is the director of the REFLEC BEAT series, one of Konami's newest arcade rhythm games.
The following list below is not yet complete, and is missing DanceDanceRevolution songs on it.
